More choice. Less searching.
Users should not have to visit every store to find a product that suits them. Relay brings results from participating retailers, marketplaces, and commerce networks into one conversation.
Your assistant can help them explore available options, narrow the shortlist, and compare alternatives using the preferences they have already shared.
Product coverage, data freshness, and available checkout paths depend on the connected sources.
Help users choose with confidence.
Find what fits
A budget, a preferred brand, a particular size, or a delivery requirement can shape the search. Help users find products that reflect the details that matter to them.
Make the tradeoffs clear
Help users weigh price, features, availability, and merchant details side by side, using the information available. Give them the context to choose what works for them.
Keep good options in reach
If an item is unavailable or outside their budget, help users find similar products, different variants, or lower-priced alternatives.
Keep their choice intact
Carry the selected product, variant, quantity, and offer into a structured purchase handoff, so the assistant can continue with the choices the user has already made.
From a decision to the next step.
Once users choose an offer, their assistant can continue with the product and purchase context already in place. Relay supplies the merchant destination and available checkout details, so the assistant can continue using its own browser or computer environment.
Users stay in control through the assistant's user-approval and security requirements. Where supported by the merchant or commerce platform, Relay may also prepare an agent-compatible cart or checkout path.
Relay does not require payment-card credentials to prepare a purchase handoff. The merchant remains responsible for the underlying transaction, including fulfillment, returns, and refunds.
Recommendations that serve the user.
A useful recommendation fits the user's needs. Relay's organic ranking considers relevance, price, availability, product attributes, shipping, and other constraints. Affiliate commission does not determine organic ranking.
If Relay displays a sponsored or promoted placement, it will be identified separately so users can distinguish it from organic results.
Relay may earn a commission on qualifying purchases through participating commerce partners, at no additional cost to the user. Purchase attribution can be preserved without changing organic relevance ranking.
Build around what your users need.
Help people compare options for a major purchase, find a replacement, or discover an alternative that better fits their budget. Bring those moments into the assistant they already use.
Tell us which shopping tasks your users bring to your assistant, where they get stuck, and which product categories or markets matter to them.
Muse and Grok Bot are Relay's first integration targets. The initial connector is being designed around the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Integration details and availability will be published in the documentation as they become available.
